Travel, Pay Debt, Home Renos

Yesterday evening I went out for drinks with a friend. We talked a lot about travel, a little about work and other life stuff.

What resonated with me about our conversation was how much she loves to travel. At one point I said, "You prioritize travel". Her response was, "Yes, travel is very important to me". When she was looking for the value of different credit cards, she put together a cost-benefit analysis all based on what? Getting the most value for travelling. 

I believe when our priorities are clear, whether it be travel, connecting with family/friends, hobbies, paying down debt, whatever it is, we feel most fulfilled.

As you can clearly see from my drawing (lol), the lady on the left has 3 priorities, money flows to those priorities and she's fulfilled – her money, thoughts, and energy are going towards what's most important to her.

The lady on the right has so many distractions in her life that she's left drained, shrugging her shoulders wondering where all her money went. 

Or, what do you do when you have many priorities and it's hard to narrow them down? That's my struggle – so many important things that I want to do, all right now.
